random grace moments

"And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace."
John 1:16

As I sat outside this morning my journaling began with random thoughts jotted down neat and packaged with little dots resting beside each one, somehow maybe I was grasping for a connection in these thoughts. I remembered that God is never random. Everything HE does is with purpose and for my good.  I scrunched down, satisfied in his grace and sovereignty.

But here are some of the randomness of my morning thoughts:

*smocking guild tonight
     embellishing a journal cover

*leftover lasagna in the fridge to warm up for tonight's dinner, tossed salad on the side with the addition of tomatoes due to their bounty

*A time of swimming this afternoon, perhaps

*laundry, sheets to change

*read to my girls aloud , Charlotte will eat an icy popsicle

continuing the randomness even with  photos

Life is like that isn't it? Filled with random! I'm guessing there are good random thoughts and bad random thoughts. It looks like at least yours are very good. :)

Sometimes thoughts are random, but jotting them in my journal usually helps me organize and process them.

Randomness or making the most of what your day brings, greeting each moment with grace - there's not much difference sometimes.

You post makes me think that I should get back into journalling again. I think I could manage point form. Maybe it would help me with my scattered thoughts.

That is one beautiful head!! I'm sure supper was delicious that night.

Blessings!

What a pretty and colorful new header you have! It is very whimsical! I have been trying to journal a little more these summer mornings. I am typically more of a thinker than a writer so it is a bit of an effort.

Friday, the 13th, and at last the weather has turned cooler. I breathe deeply as I turn off the air-conditioner and slide open a few windows...
