A Monday in May

I am scanning old photos and iphotoing like crazy today as we prepare Alan's graduation video for the luncheon we are giving in his honor on Saturday.

And here is something to give you a totally delightful pause in your day.

Charlotte will be taking lessons on a string instrument in the fall. I have been faithfully birthing this thought in her since she was a wee little thing. Cello would be the string instrument of my choice, but she planned on trying both the violin and cello to decide what fits her the best...although watching this young woman play her violin might rather nip it in the bud.

"Do you think you could do this some day with classic ballet moves, Charlotte?"

I love hearing Nan play the violin. So beautiful and what was more beautiful than the violin at our wedding?? I hope Charlotte pursues this. I love the cello too, though it might be harder to dance with it...

That's an amazing way to play and dance! Quite inspiring.

I answered your question in the comments section on my blog Cathy.

Have a lovely day!

I can't get it to play, but I'm sure it was pretty. I imagine that whichever she chooses, she will do it beautifully.
You, my friend, have been very busy, yourself! Hope you are enjoying your summer.
