josie dress

Opening a world of possibilities for girly summer dresses to be sewn in crisp cotton fabrics can be as simple as opening a girly book.

It needs a zipper.

I have not set a zipper in a dress in years since buttons are my preferred method. I shake a little, even though a friend assures me she has a surefire method.

Looking lovely. If you don't sew the zip right first time, you can always unpick and fix it. In some ways zips are easier than button holes, and give a smoother finish too.

You seem to very busy these days, too. I am not a big fan of putting in zippers, either. I'd love to know the "secret"!
