Goldfinches at the feeder throughout the day, they feast determinately while we enjoy the females subtle beauty and the males vivid colour.

I've been wanting to set out feeders, but my kitties would be a bit too interested, I fear.
On another note, did you get my email response to yours? Fine if you did, just making sure. :)
You have reminded me of my wish to set up some birdfeeders in my back yard. When we had cats it felt as though we were setting a trap for the birds, but now that there are no felines in residence, I'd like to attract some birds to the garden.
What a delight it must be to watch them feeding and playing!
