because every picture tells a story

You will be seeing some photos I downloaded onto this post. Continue on until you get to my actual explanations. All of these pictures are years gone by (from 2017 to 2024), but each one tells a story to replay sweet memories.
One of Charlotte's Senior High School shots of 2021.
Dad and daughter learning the tango step. Remember how I have said how Charlotte and her Dad enjoy dancing together? Always have.
                                                         One  past Christmas Morning.

Thank you to all whom comment on my humble posts. I am always happy to see and read your blog posts and I do love commenting to let you know I am reading and enjoying them very much. Some days however, I do not even open my laptop computer, which is the only place I will read blogs. I never use my phone for doing so.

I realized one day I had so little photo material to share as an addendum to my post, not hardly a picture that related, I just forget to take applicable photos. And to add fire to that fact, I prefer not to carry my phone around with me if not absolutely necessary. EMFs and all that. Though my husband insists I take it along on my woodsy walks. There have been times I have even left the house without my phone... now this is 2025 for heaven's sake! But to give myself some merit to speak of...I would miss having my phone eventually. And I have gone back home to get it if I recognize I forgot it before getting too far down the road.

I possess a Canon Rebel, bought over fifteen years ago, and I do like taking photos with this camera, but it takes quite a bit longer to load them onto my computer. I have a small window to blog and read posts, those quick automatic downloads from my phone are handy to say the least. Maybe some of you could share how you make photos for your blog. And even add a bit of your blogging habits. Now this could be a sharing blog post idea...what do you think?

In every picture a memory waits to be relived.

Beautiful photos! I love looking down memory lane with my old photos (which I keep on scan disks). I had a canon rebel at first, but now I have a Canon EOS 80D, which is getting old now. andrea

I loved your photos! The picture of Charlotte with her violin is a beauty.
I used to carry a small Canon with me all the time and used it a lot. I do have a DSLR, but find my camera phone does a good job and is so handy. It saves my pics to Google photos which makes it really easy to upload onto my blog.

I take pictures with my iPhone, but usually write blog posts on my desktop PC. I could get the pictures from the cloud, but the file format is too small, so I use the WordPress app on my phone to upload whatever photos I choose directly to my blog.

It used to me that when I was traveling, I would write blog posts on my MacBook Air laptop, but it is too old to be useful now and I've had to learn to write posts on my phone, which is quite tedious. I have thought of getting a tablet device to use when traveling.... or I could just stay home!

And I am guessing from what mine is doing, that old is not good when it comes to using it.

Interestingly, my uploading to my compute and then to my posts has a snag in it now. Frustrating, I wonder how long I can get the photos the way I do now which is already not as easy as before it decided to give a snag for no apparent reason!

Yes, posting on an iPhone is too tedious for me. Since you do travel and would like to post, probably a tablet would give you an easier experience.😊
I can not imagine you staying home...

What a beautiful post, Cathy. I enjoyed each picture, as well as your words. I commented on my blog earlier in the week that I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food that I make and a kind friend responded that it means that I am living "in the moment". I would say you are intentional in that area also...especially when you forget your phone. Continue on being YOU! xx
