A cool evening in April, therefore, my husband suggests a fire.
Everyone happily agreed it was an extremely good recipe to end our day.
Toasting marshmallows on wire coat hangers, and discovering that some like them browner than others.
We wrapped ourselves in light flannel wraps and sat close to the fire until the warmth of the flames created comfortable temperatures

It looks so inviting and peaceful out there. Our family does this a couple of times a year, but with a small bonfire in the back yard. We've been looking into getting a firepit like yours for a while now, but our patio is between our house and the garage. I'm still a little scared of it catching something on fire. :/
There's nothing like family time and roasting marshmallows. I like mine lightly toasted and completely melted in the middle. :o)
How delightful! We are having a rainy and cold April day, and a cozy fire, indoor or out, would be welcome right now.
Hello again! I had a feeling that the comment I posted yesterday didn't go through. So I wanted to check back to say how much I have enjoyed perusing your sweet place here.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your comment.

Yes, your kind comments both went through, sometimes I am slow in checking emails. Hard to believe in this day and time, huh?
That looks like such a nice time. It's been awhile since we've enjoyed a fire over our fire pit.
Beautiful!!
Blessings!
