Journal entry of an afternoon tea.

A white linen tablecloth to dress up the wicker table on the covered porch,

cream scones with strawberry jam and black tea with hints of peach.

And the enticing scent of the newly blooming lilacs set in a mason jar.

Thankful to my Heavenly Father for such peace and beauty to enjoy.

Oh that looks like such a lovely relaxing tea time. I need to do tea time like that once in a while instead of in my big mug in the recliner.

So peaceful and relaxing! The tea table setting is just lovely, too. I need to make some scones, again. It's been a while. Thank you for the reminder. ;o)

You have lilacs blooming?! Ours won't be ready for a couple more weeks -- especially if the weather stays as cool as it has the last few days. It looks like you had lovely time of afternoon tea.

Blessings!
