Against an evening of loosing all hope, the morning finally dawns with things looking immensely brighter. Peppermint tea and saltine crackers are popular in our home for the aid of restoring needed balance. And when the tea is poured from a little porcelain teapot and served with a bit of blossom honey in a Jemima Puddleduck teacup, the journey of rebounding begins with an extra touch of whimsical consolation.
A unwelcoming and cruel "bug" came creeping into our household the middle of last week and wasn't pleased until both girls and me languished for "a spell". Charlotte did receive some tender administrations though.

Oh, they are not nice. The morning always brightens though; you are correct.
Hope you are all on the mend. It looks like you found the perfect remedy and have not lost your sense of poetry.
I'm so sorry you had that. Hope and pray that you all are on the mend quickly.
If I lived closer, I would bring you some soup and crackers. I'd also leave it on your doorstep and run! LOL! Is "hate" too strong a word to describe my phobia of *those* bugs?????
Bless your hearts.....
Hi Cathy, You asked what I thought of A Circle of Quiet. I have to confess I did not love it as much as many women seem to mainly because her view of....spirituality? doesn't necessarily speak to me, but I really like her as a person, enjoyed reading what she had to say about writing and creativity, and she has lived an interesting life. Her 2nd book is a bit difficult just because her mother is declining and that is hard to read, but it is also a beautiful tribute and I seem to connect more with what she says in this book. It makes me wonder if her views changed from the time she wrote her books to the time she passed away and if so, how. What did you think of ACofQ?
For someone who is ill... you transported me straight into a fairy tale. Beatrix Potter... Jane Austin... Hmmm. Have you perhaps been reading while you 'languish'?
Get well.
Blessings, Debbie
I do hope EVERYONE is feeling better again now! I love the word picture you created.
Blessings!
Deborah
Just popping in the wish you and your sweet family a very Happy Easter!
