listening to the stories of Rosie Boom

A few of the blogs I read, especially if they are specific blogs talking about books, mention that they enjoy listening to books being read on audible or librivox...or some such downloadable program. In years past I have tried to do this, but truthfully it only produced a list of half listened to books. I have given some thought to why I was unsuccessful while others enjoyed this platform and I do believe it has to do with more than just one factor.

But I have experienced the true enjoyment of listening to Rosie Boom read her book,  Where Lions Roar at Night. She posted one wonderful chapter of her reading per week and the chapters were just long enough for me to get totally engaged in the story while doing a few chores in the kitchen before going on to other things. Then there is the added bonus of hearing her delightful New Zealand accent.

I am leaving a link to Chapter One where you can go to YouTube now and hear all thirty-six chapters. I believe you will find as much delight in them as I did.
