September tapestry

The work of Edmund Blair Leighton was brought to my attention once again and what a pleasure it is to observe his beautiful artwork. He was an English painter of the mid-to-late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

This one is called September.

Enjoy!

Hi Cathy! Beautiful blog, home and gardens! I sat and went through a year or so on this rainy day at my house. I liked seeing the figs, and learning that plant is a sedum. (I never knew but used to have them in the past). I do agree what you said about medicare (earlier post). I think your gardens are just as pretty as that beautiful picture. andrea
