considering all things

Titus 2:1 exhorts us, believers, to speak those things which become sound doctrine. I personally believe those things are in all things. In this space of blog world that I am given I desire to be as the woman in Titus 2, to love and value the things the LORD loves and values pertaining to everything in life. I seldom mention world events though, of course, we are all affected by them, but today I want to share this podcast  for your consideration and I pray you will take the time to listen to it, especially if you are a believer and an American citizen. I have mentioned this podcast before and I find these ladies are serious in considering how they can teach women how to go to the scriptures, how we must learn to read the Bible wholly and in context, and  to study the Word carefully and prayfully.

This particular podcast is relevant and urgent for these times. Michelle and Amy do an excellent job in regard to solid Biblical understanding on this matter of a choice to vote for who our next leader will be. They are focused and balanced but not dogmatic. When it is all done and said we can all agree that God is Sovereign over all things.

They did do an excellent job laying out common sense and practical guidelines in voting. I fear many are being misled to not vote due to wanting the perfect candidate. Or voting for a third party which is like throwing away your vote, or worse, giving an upper-hand to the other party. My litmus test is pro-life. I know some pro-lifers feel the best candidate is still lacking, but my goodness, vote for the better of the two! andrea

I will have to give it a listen, thanks for the suggestion, Cathy!

I too am pro-life and vote with that foremost in mind and I equally believe we will have a better voice if one of these candidates wins the presidency.

Yes, we vote pro-life. That is the ultimate litmus test for us. I don't understand people's logic and I have to wonder how important the unborn and others including the elderly are to people if they are picking "General Patton" apart. If there is a fire in their home to they survey the personality etc. of the firefighters before they go upstairs to rescue their children? Do they willfully listen to slanted things about the firefighters?

Sometimes there are men for our particular time such as General Patton who had a huge part during WWII. This is one of those times in my opinion.

I have not listened to the podcast but reading above I get the jest of it and look forward to listening.

We've been out of pocket lately, out of town taking a rest and just busy with our sweet grandchildren, my 93 year old elderly mom fighting dementia.

I'll have to go back to your previous entries with some coffee and enjoy. May we lift this country up in prayer! We are fervently praying. I appreciate you. ~Amelia
