Finding myself committed to my kitchen lately as I can vegetables, I like to listen to certain podcasts. I have lately gleaned much enjoyment while listening to Classical Et Cetera from Memoria Press.
Because I intentionally choose to read Great Books every year I've enjoyed several of their episodes on that topic.
Then please share your reading habits.

Good for you for canning. I want to can beans next week, but I'll be gone until Wednesday so we'll see. Good idea to listen to podcasts while doing it.
I've just finished a book I enjoyed titled Limping with God - it's on Jacob. I also recently read the Blue Sky Series by Lisa Wingate; 4 books all very good!
I sometimes sit down with a good book, but it has been a while.
Any suggestions?
HI! I haven't read much since I started having to wear reading glasses! I hate having glasses on! No canning here for me. I decided I'm going to try putting out my overabundance on a table with a sign of "free" for my neighbors and see how that goes! (Making sure they don't think my table is a give away). andrea
I start my day with time in the Word. After breakfast, I allow myself about 45 minutes to an hour to dive into whatever book I am currently reading before I get on with my day. I always have a stack of books ready to choose from. I try to vary my reading with Christian growth books, novels and this year I have broadened my scope and added in some classics. Then in the evening I try to spend another hour (or two) reading some more
Thank you Mari for the sharing. I need to read a Lisa Wingate book, others have mentioned her books being good.
Sandi, It depends on what you like to read. Do you have a particular genre?
I know you spend time in the Bible, and that is the best book to read every day.
Andrea, I do hate to be overcome with my garden blessings, but right now I must "have a little talk" with myself often so I won't complain of all the extra work. However, I am sharing with my husband that next year we can decrease garden size.
I too begin my day with the Word. I like how you are then able to take some time to read after breakfast. My life right now does not allow that, but I love to read a bit after dinner if possible...not always. Bedtime reading is my time to read the most. Thank you for sharing. And for sharing on your blog some of your book reviews!
